00Days Until Easter!
Little Blue Truck's Springtime book

Easter is just around the corner, and as a mom with young children on a tight schedule, I am sharing the best Amazon Easter basket ideas with you!

While candy is typically the go-to option, I try not to give it because I’m not sure of everyone’s food allergies or sensitivities. And if you are a last-min momma like me and love Amazon – that’s why I’ve put together a list of 10 non-candy Easter basket ideas that are perfect for little kids! Yay for being an Amazon Prime member! If you are not one, you can

  1. Bunnies to chicks to lambs, you’re sure to find a cute and cuddly friend that your child will love.
  2. Books: Reading is a great way to encourage your child’s imagination and language skills. I try to read to my kids at night. Reading about the upcoming holidays tends to help with anticipation of the upcoming holiday and traditions. Choose a book with an Easter or springtime theme, or a favorite story that your child can enjoy over and over again. My kids are into trucks (Little Blue Truck specifically) and Mickey Mouse
  3. Coloring books: Water Wow By Melissa & Doug.  These are so cool! They are mom-friendly with no crayons/pens/markers to mess with. It comes with a brush that you fill with water and brush water on a special type of paper that the picture becomes colorful when water touches it. What’s super awesome is that it’s re-useable! Let the paper dry and it takes away the color and makes it a new coloring sheet.
  4. Art supplies: Encourage your child’s creativity with a set of markers, colored pencils, or paint. You can also include some construction paper, stickers, or other craft supplies. This set has it all, plus a 2 In 1 Art Storage And Lab Desk. My favorite part is there’s a spot to put all the things that it comes with.

Best Amazon Easter ideas continued…

  1. Puzzles: Puzzles are a great way to challenge your child’s problem-solving skills. Look for puzzles with bright colors and fun designs, or choose a puzzle with your child’s favorite characters. My go-to puzzles are from Melissa And Doug. There are different themes and types!
  2. Bath toys: Bath time in our house doesn’t typically mean can be fun and relaxing- maybe for the kids, not so much for the parent giving the bath. However, toys to keep them busy are always a plus. This One has held up for years!
  3. Dress-up accessories: Encourage your child’s imagination with dress-up accessories like hats, tiaras, or superhero capes. This could be even your clothes that you don’t wear anymore and they can play Dress Up as Mommy/Daddy!
  4. Play-dough: Play-dough is a great sensory activity for young children, and it comes in all sorts of fun colors and scents. Play-dough comes with rules in my house. Only at a certain time and place. It also has its own storage as well. I use These Bags for everything!

For the outdoor-loving kids

  1. Outdoor toys: Spring is the perfect time to get outside and play. This Rocket Launcher was a hit with my son last year, will be putting in more rockets this year!
  2. Gardening tools: Spring is the perfect time to start a garden, and young children love to get their hands dirty. Include some child-sized gardening tools Such As This One (although it might not fit into the basket), seeds or a watering can in your child’s Easter basket.

These are just a few non-candy Easter basket ideas that are perfect for young children. With a little creativity, you can create a fun and memorable Easter basket that your child will love.

I hope that the Easter bunny is good to you and the kids! Try to save some of the candy for the kids too! If you got any of these recommendations, let me know how they liked it! I’m sure it’ll be a hit, no matter what.

See you for the next holiday!
