There are many ways to make money online for women. As the digital world is here to stay, everyday women are finding more and more ways to make some extra cash! 

Here are some popular options:

    • Freelance work: If you have a skill or talent, you can offer freelance services online. You can find work on freelance websites such as Upwork or Fiverr, or you can create your own website and market your services to potential clients. Word of advice – watch out for scammers! They are prone to using whatsapp for communication and each site has their own rules and regulations to protect you so make sure you are reading everything over. 

    • Affiliate marketing: You can earn money by promoting other people’s products or services through affiliate marketing. You can sign up for affiliate programs through companies such as Amazon or ShareASale. There are many opportunities and affiliate marketing has been around for decades. You probably already do it on your own, so why not get paid for it? 

    • Blogging: If you have a passion or expertise in a certain area, you can start a blog and earn money through advertising, affiliate marketing, or sponsored posts. You can get started with Bluehost (which is the a website hosting platform that I use). I find it very user friendly and quick to learn!

    • Selling products online: You can sell products online through websites such as Etsy or Amazon. I personally have my own Etsy store: 128creativestudio where I sell printables and templates for Canva. I am in process of adding new products, let me know what you think!
    • Sell your own items in your household on Facebook Marketplace or OfferUp which both have option to buy/pick up locally or ship. To be successful on these type of platforms you need to have good images and communication. If you don’t respond or are late to inquiries, you might miss out on a sale! 
    • Sell used and new clothes, shoes, accessories using Poshmark. I personally have had some success with this. There is a process to follow including great product photos, descriptions, answering questions from prospective buyers, sharing other profiles and quick shipping.     These are just some ideas to get you started. So if your dream is to work from anywhere, give these a try. These are not going to be overnight successes however, with dedication, doing your homework, and following through with the process, you can be successful!
